There are different travel hacks to low down your costs, the fact is that are not coming along naturally during your travel time but are hiding, deeply into the web.
The first thing to do if you are traveling with a low budget, that's in my case is only $325 CAN for a month of life and travel in Taipei, is to research spending time and researching is the only way to travel cheap.

 In Taipei I'm living in a hostel and I'm the only person using and discovering deals and pass.
There is only one company that does provide tourist passes for attractions and transit in Taipei and this is the Funpass .
I don't personally suggest to buy their unlimited or classic pass version I'm actually a Transport version user. I used it multiple times to reach far destinations in New Taipei City for only $ 180NT.

This are two of the main attractions to don't miss when you are visiting Taipei City and this ticket give you the opportunity to receive a little discount and save $50 NT with no hassle. 

National Place full Price $350 NT
Yehliu Geopark $80NT 

You can easily buy this combined ticket online and access the attractions directly with the E-ticket, once 
validated the combined tickets will have 90 days of validity from the date that the first ticket has been used. 
Also the ticket will allowed you to enter both of the National Museum branches the one in the capitol and the one in the south.

World's biggest Starbucks Tokyo

Despite the real fact that I never go to Starbucks while in Japan, I'll start with post by telling you that you MUST go to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery that has recently opened in Tokyo. It will blow up you mind.  As well know, this is the biggest Starbucks in the World at the moment. Four floors not only dedicated to coffee. A whole floor is for Teavana   and if you are more into grownups stuff you can visit their bar Arriviamo  to get boozy any time of the day.  As Italians we got some aperitivo and tried the Aperol Spritz. The drink was well done ( As I work in the field I stared at the barman all time long to know if he was doing it right... Sorry, barman I was annoying. )  Prices are overall reasonable, 1000 /1200 yen for a cocktail, you need to count that in many places in Japan the price is 800 yen, it sounds ok to me.  You might want to get a note, if you're going to have a date here in Japan, definitely a cool place .  The store also
